Simon Kirk

Simon Kirk, co-owner of Bare Knuckle Sports, has been passionate about combat sports from a young age. His fascination with boxing began while watching iconic fighters like Naseem Hamed on television with his grandfather. As he grew older, Simon developed a deep appreciation for the rise of MMA and UFC, impressed by how the sport evolved into the global phenomenon it is today. Fifteen years ago, he stumbled upon the underground world of bare-knuckle boxing, where fighters battled in barns and remote venues. This raw and gritty form of combat sparked his interest, and he began attending high-profile boxing events, always keeping an eye on the emerging bare-knuckle scene.

Three years ago, Simon recognized that bare-knuckle boxing was growing rapidly. Drawing on the connections he had built over the years, he launched “YouTube Warz” with the aim of showcasing bare-knuckle bouts on social media platforms. The project quickly gained momentum, and as the sport’s popularity soared, Simon was advised to partner with Ash Miah. Together, they co-founded Bare Knuckle Sports, which has since expanded into a franchise. With branches opening across the UK, they aim to provide opportunities for young fighters from all regions to compete locally and develop their skills. Simon and Ash have also forged friendships with international promotions like BKFC, Gromda, and Klan, giving their fighters the chance to compete globally and reach their full potential. Bare Knuckle Sports is driven by a commitment to the fighters, offering them the platform to thrive in the sport they love.
